Director

Philippe d’Astous holds the Desjardins Research Professorship in Personal Finance and is an associate professor in the Department of Finance at HEC Montréal. He holds a PhD in Risk Management from Georgia State University. His research focuses on individuals’ decision-making regarding their debt, savings, and consumption. He has gained varied experience in empirical work using individual-level microdata, both administrative and survey-based.
